Job summary

Onbe, a fast-growing FinTech, is seeking a Financial Operations AR Specialist to join the team. You will reconcile financial transactions, ensure accuracy of records, and support standards and policies.

This hybrid role requires onsite work 2 days/week in Chicago, Philadelphia or Dallas metro areas and may involve travel. You will collaborate with finance to resolve discrepancies, prepare reports, and help automate processes to improve efficiency while maintaining compliance and internal

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (or equivalent).
• 3+ years in accounting or bookkeeping.
• Familiar with GAAP and financial reporting.
• Excel proficient; Great Plains a plus.
• High attention to detail and multitasking.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements in finance.

Responsibilities

• Reconciliations: bank statements, AP/AR, GL accounts.
• Identify and resolve basic discrepancies; escalate complex issues.
• Data entry and accuracy; maintain organized records.
• Assist in preparing standard financial reports and summaries.
• Support compliance with internal controls and audits.
• Collaborate with finance and other departments for daily ops.
• Explore automation to enhance reconciliation efficiency.
