Job summary

Unbound Academy in Arizona is seeking a Virtual Reading Specialist to deliver personalized interventions for students in grades 3–8 and to motivate progress with data-driven coaching. This is a full-time, W2 role with remote-first operations and hybrid options in Arizona.

You will plan and deliver small-group and one-on-one sessions, differentiate for reading levels including dyslexia, and track progress to plan the next sessions with confidence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in education or related field and reading intervention certification.
• Dyslexia intervention certification or equivalent training is required.
• At least 2 years' experience delivering small-group or one-on-one reading interventions for grades 3–8.
• Experience supporting students with dyslexia and using progress data to guide instruction.
• Ability to engage students in a virtual setting with clear, motivating communication.
• Hybrid capacity to work in Arizona as needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver virtual small-group and one-on-one reading intervention sessions for grades 3–8.
• Use assessment data to target fluency and comprehension gaps and adjust instruction quickly.
• Differentiate activities across multiple reading levels, including dyslexia support.
• Track progress and use data to plan subsequent sessions.
• Run structured motivation check-ins to build confidence and growth.
