Job summary

Air Reading is seeking an online reading instructor to deliver structured, evidence-based lessons via Zoom for small groups of elementary students. In this contract role, you will follow established lesson plans rooted in the Science of Reading and provide ongoing progress feedback. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree, are authorized to work in the United States, and demonstrate strong verbal and written communication.

Remote gigs offer flexible hours between 6:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher; US work authorization.
• Proficiency with Zoom and common digital teaching tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication; online classroom skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver structured online reading instruction via Zoom using Air Reading’s curriculum.
• Follow lesson plans with fidelity to structured literacy and Science of Reading principles.
• Monitor and document student progress using established assessment and reporting tools.
• Provide timely, actionable feedback that supports student learning and growth.
• Create a positive, orderly virtual classroom environment that promotes student engagement and participation.
• Collaborate with Air Reading’s instructional team and school partners as needed.
