Job summary

Pomelo Care, a leading virtual medical practice, seeks a Registered Dietitian to deliver nutritionally focused care for midlife and menopausal transitions via telehealth. You will work with a dedicated medical team to provide holistic, evidence-based nutrition therapy.

You can set your own schedule as an independent contractor, with compensation on a per-active-visit-hour basis and onboarding bonus. No employee benefits; medical records and AI documentation tools streamline charting.

Qualifications

• National certification as RD or RD/Nutritionist with a US state license.
• Minimum of 2 years of evidence-based nutrition counseling.
• Commit to at least 10 patient-facing hours per week.
• Comfort using telehealth platforms, video visits, and EMR.
• Strong communication and collaborative multidisciplinary care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct synchronous video visits to provide one-on-one nutritional care for midlife and menopausal transitions.
• Collaborate with a multi-specialty care team to ensure a cohesive care plan.
• Partner with patients over a multi-week program to facilitate sustainable lifestyle changes.
• Provide evidence-based nutrition therapy focusing on metabolic health, bone health, and gut health.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Uphold clinical, privacy, and compliance standards for visits via Pomelo platform.
