Job summary

Railbookers Group, home to Railbookers and Amtrak Vacations, seeks a results-driven Account Executive. This remote role focuses on converting inquiries into bookings, with a strong B2C emphasis and outbound follow-up.

You will qualify travel leads, present pricing, upsell promotions, and manage a growing stream of vacation bookings. You will collaborate with internal teams, stay updated on rail routes and packages, and track opportunities in CRM.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a high-volume customer service contact center.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a professional telephone manner.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in complex itineraries.

Responsibilities

• Convert inbound calls, emails, and web inquiries into bookings for Amtrak Vacations with a strong B2C focus.
• Qualify leads by understanding travel goals, preferences, and budgets to design tailored itineraries.
• Present pricing, upsell opportunities, and promotions to maximize revenue and close sales.
• Meet or exceed sales targets, conversion rates, and other KPIs.
• Foster relationships with customers and travel advisors to drive repeat business.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless bookings and accurate quotes.
• Maintain expert knowledge of rail routes, destinations, and packages.
• Track leads and sales in CRM and follow defined processes.
• Engage in ongoing product training and performance initiatives.
• Stay organized and adaptable in a fast-paced, remote environment.
