Job summary

Railbookers Group, the leading independent rail vacation provider in North America and beyond, seeks a motivated contact center professional to convert inquiries into bookings and nurture leads in a remote role.

You will handle calls, emails, and web inquiries, present pricing, upsell opportunities, and provide exceptional support for existing reservations, including changes and refunds. The role emphasizes empathy, accuracy, and collaboration with partners to ensure seamless travel experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a high-volume customer service contact center.
• English language proficiency required with professional telephone manner.
• Fluency in a second Asian language is highly desirable.
• Experience with travel, hospitality, or transportation industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Convert inbound calls, emails, and web inquiries into bookings and conduct timely outbound follow-ups.
• Qualify customer needs by understanding travel goals, preferences, and budgets.
• Present pricing, upsell opportunities, and limited-time promotions to maximize revenue.
• Provide exceptional support for existing reservations, including changes, cancellations, and special requests.
• Troubleshoot and resolve service issues with empathy and professionalism, aiming for first-contact resolution.
• Document all interactions and sales activities in the CRM system.
• Collaborate with internal teams and partners to ensure seamless travel experiences.
• Process payments, manage billing inquiries, and issue refunds accurately.
• Maintain knowledge of products, routes, destinations, and amenities through ongoing training.
• Consistently meet or exceed sales, service, and performance targets.
• Flexibly work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
