Job summary

CorroHealth is seeking a Coding Specialist to perform CPT, HCPCS and ICD-10-CM coding across multiple specialties from a home-based environment. The role focuses on accurate code assignment for Professional Fee, Facility, and HCC cases while meeting productivity and quality targets.

Qualified candidates must hold an AAPC or AHIMA credential, have at least 6 months of coding experience, and be proficient with EMR, CPT, ICD-10-CM, and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Must be certified through AAPC or AHIMA.
• At least 6 months of on-the-job coding experience.
• Proficient with CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS coding guidelines.
• Strong detail orientation and ability to work independently from home.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Provide CPT, HCPCS and ICD-10-CM coding for 1–4 specialties.
• Code Professional Fee, Facility, or HCC revenue streams.
• Apply codes with high specificity to support reimbursement.
• Interpret coding guidelines and ensure AHIMA/Company compliance.
• Maintain productivity and quality targets (95%+).
