Job summary

CorroHealth is seeking a Coding Specialist to deliver CPT, HCPCS and ICD-10-CM coding across multiple specialties. This role can be performed from home and requires certification with CPC/COC or CCS/CCS-P, plus at least 6 months of on-the-job coding experience.

You will apply diagnoses and procedures to the highest level of specificity, while maintaining high productivity and quality standards and complying with privacy regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be certified through AAPC (CPC/COC) or AHIMA (CCS/CCS-P).
• Minimum 6 months of on-the-job coding experience.
• Regular, predictable attendance and reliable internet access.
• Proficient with EMR and coding references (CPT/ICD-10-CM/PCS).
• Maintains 95%+ productivity and 95%+ quality scores.
• Proficient in Excel and Outlook; able to communicate professionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide CPT, HCPCS and ICD-10-CM coding for multiple specialties.
• Code Professional Fee, Facility, or HCC as needed.
• Apply codes with highest specificity and ensure documentation supports codes.
• Align coding with AHIMA/Company ethics and privacy rules.
• Participate in internal training and maintain credentials with AAPC or AHIMA.
