Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Acts as a Lead IBC Assistant and trains other IBC Assistants.
• Performs collection follow-up on insurance, self-pay, Medicare and Medicaid claims.
• Handles discounts, adjustments and charge corrections.
• Makes collection calls to insurance companies and patients.
• Reviews remittance advice for rejection and payment accuracy.
• Verifies charge tickets and monitors attachments for maximum reimbursements.
• Contacts insurers and collection agencies regarding payments.
• Responds to billing and collection questions from customers.
• Back-up support for Accounts Receivable during peak times.
