Job summary

RAYUS Radiology, formerly Center for Diagnostic Imaging and Insight Imaging, seeks an Insurance Denials Specialist II to join our team. You will investigate denied claims, gather documentation, and coordinate with patients, insurers, and centers to expedite billing and collections.

This full‑time, remote role supports a nationwide payer network and helps improve cash flow. Ideal candidates have medical billing experience, strong Excel/Office skills, and a detail‑oriented approach.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of medical billing or payer claim processing experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
• Proficient with computer systems and typing.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and determine reasons for denied or unpaid claims.
• Expedite billing and collections by obtaining required documentation.
• Communicate with patients, insurers, and coworkers to resolve denials.
• Document all communications in the billing system.
• Contribute to reducing days‑sales‑outstanding and increasing collections.
• Prioritize workload to improve key objectives and team results.
• Follow established QA standards and complete daily tasks promptly.
