Job summary

Savista is seeking a remote Medical Coder to join our revenue cycle team. You will verify and sequence ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS codes from medical records, ensure coding accuracy, and collaborate with the Accounts Receivable team to resolve denials.

Qualifications include an active AHIMA or AAPC credential, 1 year of coding experience, proficiency in MS Office, and familiarity with ICD-10 guidelines. Epic, Cerner, and ARIA experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Active AHIMA or AAPC credential.
• One year of coding experience.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS code sets.
• Proficient in MS Office (Enter data, sort, filter).
• Ability to code at 95% quality while meeting standards.

Responsibilities

• Code ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS from records for submission.
• Submit claims and review denials with AR team.
• Communicate with providers during querying process.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding guidelines and payer rules.
• Participate in continuing education to maintain credentials.
