Job summary

Thorne is seeking a R&D Tech Ops Project Manager to lead cross-functional initiatives from concept to launch in a remote capacity. You will work with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, and other teams to align technical and business requirements, with travel around 15%.

The role emphasizes project leadership and operational excellence, leveraging Stage Gate processes to deliver critical Tech Ops projects on time and within scope. A strong manufacturing background is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5–10 years of professional experience in manufacturing or production environments.
• 2+ years leading cross-functional projects in manufacturing.
• Experience with Stage Gate and new product development.
• Experience with regulated manufacturing environments and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple Tech Ops projects from concept through launch using Stage Gate processes.
• Serve as project lead to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery and quality.
• Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, and risk management.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, defining roles, priorities, and accountability.
• Maintain project documentation and provide status reports to stakeholders.
• Facilitate meetings and drive decisions to resolve issues and keep momentum.
