Job summary

Rexel USA is seeking a Quotations Specialist to join the Capitol Light team on a REMOTE basis. You will establish relationships with customers and vendors to secure pricing for bids, review bid packages, and formulate project quotations.

The role emphasizes accuracy, cross-functional collaboration with sales and branch teams, and maintaining up-to-date product knowledge to win and optimize quotations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in customer service, project management, or related field.
• Experience in electrical distribution, lighting, or related industry preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Quote low to moderate profile/complex projects.
• Review bid packages and all requirements (technical, manufacturers list, commercial, documentation).
• Collaborate with Outside Sales or branches to discuss strategy for each proposal.
• Format customer requests into a standardized bid review spreadsheet.
• Issue RFQs to vendors for project quotations and communicate deadlines and details.
• Receive pricing and assemble bid tabulations for review.
• Prepare and submit final proposals with all required documentation.
