Job summary

ICF is seeking a Quantitative IT Business Analyst to join our Utility Program and Services Group. Based out of New Jersey with remote options, you will contribute to the software development lifecycle, data analysis, and business intelligence for energy efficiency and utility projects.

You will translate complex calculations into dynamic Excel models, document requirements, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Math, Engineering, CS, or related field.
• 3+ years of IT project delivery experience.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, macros, and modeling.
• 2+ years creating requirements, design specs, test scripts, and system docs.
• Ability to pass background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle with focus on energy efficiency tracking.
• Engage stakeholders to define system requirements and design approaches.
• Analyze client processes for technology-driven improvements.
• Develop documentation: requirements, design documents, use cases, test plans.
• Translate complex calculations into dynamic Excel models and translate to system requirements.
• Provide training and support for IT system users.
• Collaborate in team environments and present updates in status meetings.
