Job summary

ICF is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for a mostly remote role in the United States with preference for Illinois or nearby states. You will lead data-driven analysis, translate business needs into actionable tech solutions, and collaborate with engineering and client teams to deliver high-quality results across the full software lifecycle.

You will analyze datasets using Excel, SQL, and Power BI, manage multiple workstreams, mentor junior analysts, and ensure audit-ready delivery standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field with substitutions allowed for experience.
• 5+ years as a Business Analyst or similar role focused on data-driven or technical systems.
• 2+ years of multi-project prioritization to meet goals and deadlines.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of the software development lifecycle for energy efficiency tools from discovery to post-launch validation.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions to clarify objectives and drive delivery.
• Document current and future processes; identify risks, gaps, and automation opportunities.
• Translate business needs into project plans, data mappings, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with technologists, reporting teams, PMs, and cross-functional partners to deliver integrated solutions.
