Job summary

FuelCell Energy Solutions GmbH is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician to support the Product Quality team. The role involves inspecting and testing skid assemblies, documenting results, and ensuring compliance with quality standards.

Based in Danbury with the possibility to work remotely, the technician will travel up to 70% (domestic and international) to supplier facilities and customer sites. Prior QA/QC experience in skid equipment and familiarity with ISO 9001 are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Education matching the listed requirements and any related technical discipline.
• Proven experience with skid inspections, testing, and QA documentation.
• Ability to read technical drawings and P&IDs and interpret schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final inspections of skid assemblies and equipment at vendors.
• Document test results and maintain punch lists and nonconformance reports.
• Conduct site inspections during power plant installations and test electrical/mechanical systems.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, project management and contractors.
• Travel domestically and internationally up to 70% as required.
