Lithia & Driveway is seeking an Application Quality Engineer to help ensure fast, reliable experiences for millions of customers. You will build automated tests, collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams, and explore AI-assisted testing to improve coverage across web and mobile platforms.

The role emphasizes on automating quality, validating accessibility and performance, and participating in on-call rotations to support product quality.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of experience testing high-scale web or mobile applications.
• Experience building automated tests using Playwright, Appium, or similar frameworks.
• Exposure to cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with containerized development environments.
• Familiarity with React and Kotlin.
• Passion for automation and improving user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automated test suites for releases.
• Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering to identify risks and ensure quality early.
• Validate functionality, accessibility, and performance across web and mobile apps.
• Investigate, document, and help resolve issues before customers are affected.
• Explore AI-driven testing approaches to improve coverage and efficiency.
• Use tools like GitHub Copilot to accelerate testing.
• Collaborate with Quality Engineers to raise quality standards.
