Job summary

Versar Global Solutions is seeking a Quality Control (QC) Manager to lead quality assurance for DoD fuel facility maintenance and repairs under USACE programs.

The role requires an engineering or construction management background with 5–10 years of O&M fueling facilities experience and certifications such as CQM-C or CQA. The position is REMOTE with travel up to 20% to domestic locations and field sites.

Qualifications

• Must have an engineering degree or construction management background with 5–10 years of O&M fueling facilities experience.
• Knowledge of construction, maintenance and repair methods, materials and quality control standards.
• Current USACE EM 385-1-1 training or thorough demonstrated knowledge.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
• CCQM/CQA or similar credentials are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive quality control plan for maintenance and repair projects within the USACE RMMR program.
• Provide leadership and oversight to project teams, contractors, and maintenance personnel regarding quality requirements.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify compliance with quality standards and project specifications.
• Identify and document non-conforming work or materials and develop corrective actions.
• Maintain detailed records of all quality control activities and prepare comprehensive reports.
