Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Quality Management, Engineering, Science, or Business Administration.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance, compliance, or project management roles, preferably within a regulated industry.
• Proven experience managing projects related to quality systems implementation, process improvement, or regulatory compliance.
• In-depth knowledge of quality management principles and relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO 9001, specific industry standards).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and quality management tools.
• Ability to manage projects effectively in a fully remote environment, coordinating with teams connected to East London, Eastern Cape, ZA.
• Relevant certifications such as ASQ Certified Quality Manager (CQM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) are highly desirable.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and closure of projects related to quality assurance, process improvement, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and implement comprehensive quality management plans and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Ensure adherence to relevant industry standards, regulations, and certifications (e.g., ISO, GMP, industry-specific).
• Conduct internal audits and assessments to identify areas of non-compliance or opportunities for improvement.
• Manage the documentation and reporting of quality metrics and compliance status.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and legal, to integrate quality into all aspects of operations.
• Develop and deliver training programs on quality standards and compliance requirements.
• Manage external audits and inspections, facilitating communication with regulatory bodies.
• Track and resolve quality issues and non-conformances, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure ongoing compliance and best practices.
