Job summary

Essenti Talent seeks a Quality Assurance Manager to lead ISO 9001 quality systems across multiple U.S. manufacturing sites. You will supervise a Laboratory team, oversee analytical testing, audits, and CAPA programs while driving continuous improvement.

You will manage method validation, calibration, and instrument maintenance, mentor staff, and coordinate with production to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance. Remote-first role with periodic travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or related discipline.
• 5+ years of QA/QC experience in industrial manufacturing, chemicals, specialty materials, or related processing environment.
• 2+ years of laboratory supervisory or leadership experience.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, including document control, procedures, and audit readiness.
• Lead third party registration and customer audits.
• Provide direction, training, and support to laboratory and site quality personnel.
• Oversee physical and chemical testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
• Ensure analytical methods are validated and laboratory instruments are calibrated and maintained.
• Lead quality investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions.
