Job summary

OmniOn Power Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to audit engineering specifications and packages, ensuring accuracy and compliance with customer standards and internal procedures.

This role reports to the Services Quality Leader and is 100% remote. You will track CoPQ, support TL 9000 metrics, and drive corrective actions across engineering, quality, program management, and operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• ~5 years telecom industry experience including DC power, toll/fiber installs and project management.
• Knowledge of quality management systems and audit practices.
• Proficiency with Excel and SharePoint for tracker maintenance and CoPQ calculations.
• Experience with ERP/MRP, PLM/PDM or document control systems.
• Understanding of Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ) categories.
• Experience with internal surveillance audits or customer audits.
• Certification or training in internal auditing; visa sponsorship not provided.

Responsibilities

• Audit engineering specifications for accuracy and adherence to customer standards; document findings and drive corrective actions.
• Audit engineering packages (drawings, BOMs, docs, changes) for compliance with customer requirements.
• Audit methods of procedure and end-of-job packages for safety and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure version control and alignment between customer requirements, released docs, and deliverables.
• Track CoPQ metrics and support corrective actions with quotations, engineering and operations.
• Initiate corrective actions and partner with cross-functional teams to implement fixes.
• Support TL 9000 metric collection, validation and reporting; prepare audit checklists and evidence.
• Communicate recurring issues and drive process improvements.
• Maintain audit records and evidence per retention and confidentiality requirements.
