Job summary

OmniOn Power Inc. seeks a Quality Assurance Specialist to audit engineering specs and packages, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and conformance to customer standards. You will maintain CoPQ tracking and support audit activities across service categories.

Reporting to the Services Quality Leader, the role emphasizes remote work and collaboration with Engineering, Quality, Program Management, and Operations to implement corrective actions and drive continual improvement.

Qualifications

• 5 years telecom experience including DC power installation/engineering.
• Knowledge of quality management systems and audit practices.
• Proficiency with Excel and SharePoint for tracker maintenance and CoPQ calculations.
• Experience with ERP/MRP, PLM/PDM, or document control systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication with audit evidence.
• Experience in internal or customer audits in manufacturing or service environments.
• Certification or training in internal auditing.

Responsibilities

• Audit engineering specifications for accuracy and completeness to drive corrections.
• Audit engineering packages (drawings, BOMs, docs) for customer and internal compliance.
• Audit Methods of Procedure and End of Job packages for safety and regulatory adherence.
• Maintain version control and alignment between customer requirements and deliverables.
• Track CoPQ metrics and support corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
• Initiate corrective actions and collaborate with Engineering, Quality, PM, and Operations.
• Support TL 9000 metrics collection and internal surveillance audits with evidence gathering.
• Communicate recurring issues and recommend process improvements.
• Maintain audit records and evidence in line with confidentiality and retention policies.
