Job summary

OmniOn Power Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to audit specifications and packaging to ensure accuracy and compliance. This remote role reports to the Services Quality Leader and supports TL 9000 metrics and internal surveillance audits.

You will document audit findings, drive corrective actions, and track CoPQ across quotation, engineering, execution, and materials. Strong Excel/SharePoint skills and telecom experience are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Approximately 5 years in telecom industry requirements incl. DC power installation/engineering, toll/fiber installation, project management.
• Experience with quality management systems and audit practices.
• Proficiency with Excel and SharePoint for tracker maintenance and CoPQ calculations.
• Strong written and verbal communication to document audit evidence clearly.

Responsibilities

• Audit engineering specifications for accuracy and completeness; document findings and drive corrections.
• Audit engineering packages to verify compliance with customer requirements and internal procedures.
• Audit Methods of Procedure and End of Job packages for safe installation and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure version control and configuration alignment between customer requirements and service deliverables.
• Track cost of poor quality (CoPQ) metrics and support corrective actions to reduce costs and improve customer satisfaction.
• Initiate corrective actions and partner with Engineering, Quality, Program Management, and Operations.
• Support TL 9000 metric collection, validation, and reporting; assist audits by preparing checklists and evidence.
• Communicate recurring issues and recommend process improvements.
• Maintain audit records and evidence in line with retention and confidentiality requirements.
