Career Team is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to oversee financial quality assurance and participant expense reimbursements across multiple grants. This 100% remote, full-time role reports to the Project Director and focuses on WIOA payment review for accuracy and compliance.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of accounting experience, strong Excel/Sheets skills, and the ability to work with diverse teams. Benefits include 401k, health coverage, disability and supplemental insurance.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years of accounting experience and knowledge of WIOA contracts/programs preferred.
• Strong computer skills in MS Excel and Google Sheets - experience a plus.

Responsabilités

• Ensure expense submissions comply with Federal WIOA, local, State, and corporate policies.
• Manage funds from grants to ensure records are maintained to keep the grant in budget with no disallowed costs.
• Work closely with Career Advisors and Project Director as well as the Workforce Board to provide financial compliance guidance and insight and participant reporting on assigned projects.
• Ensure participant expenditures are entered and processed in a timely manner in accordance with established policies, and budgets within WIOA guidelines.
• Manage and monitor project participant financials and update reimbursement status for various project grants to ensure grants are fiscally managed.
• Support teams across the four counties with monthly project Invoices and supporting documentation and associated Quality review.
• Ability to complete written forms and reports accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support team(s) with audit deliverables and program audit requests.
• Provide Administrative Support to teams and programs.
• Supports growth and program development.
