Job summary

OmniOn Power Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to audit engineering specs and packages, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with customer standards.

This 100% remote role reports to the Services Quality Leader and supports TL 9000 metric collection and internal audits. You will maintain cost of quality tracking, drive corrective actions with Engineering, Quality, and Operations, and prepare audit summaries and dashboards.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school diploma or GED.
• 5 years of telecom industry experience including but not limited to DC power installation/engineering, toll/fiber installation, project management.
• Experience auditing engineering documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Knowledge of quality management systems (TL9000/ISO 9001) and internal auditing.
• Ability to interpret customer requirements and contractual deliverables.
• Proficiency with Excel and SharePoint for data analysis and tracking.

Responsibilities

• Audit engineering specifications for accuracy and adherence to customer standards; document findings.
• Audit engineering packages (drawings, BOMs, ECNs) for compliance with customer requirements.
• Audit Methods of Procedure and End of Job packages for safety and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure version control and alignment between customer requirements and service deliverables.
• Track Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ) metrics and support corrective actions.
• Identify gaps and initiate corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
• Support TL 9000 metric collection and reporting to stakeholders.
• Prepare audit checklists, evidence, and action tracking for internal audits.
• Prepare audit summaries, trends, and dashboards; report recurring issues.
• Maintain audit records and evidence per retention and confidentiality standards.
