Job summary

OmniOn Power Inc. is seeking a Quality Specialist to ensure high-quality field installation services across telecom, cable, and data-center environments. You will conduct field audits to verify workmanship, safety, and compliance with customer requirements and industry standards.

The role reports to the Services Quality Leader and involves up to 60% travel. Ideal candidates bring 10 years of relevant field experience, knowledge of DC Power products, and the ability to communicate findings

Qualifications

• 10 years of field experience in a DC power installation role.
• Experience auditing, inspecting, installing, or managing work in telecom, cable, wireless, electrical, or data-center environments.
• Working knowledge of customer installation standards, quality systems, field documentation, and corrective-action processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, scopes of work, standards, and installation documentation.
• Knowledge of Engineering requirements of DC Power products and TELCO industry standards.
• Strong written communication, attention to detail, and ability to communicate findings constructively with field and operational teams.
• Ability to work independently in field environments and manage travel requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field audits of telecom, cable, and data-center installations to verify workmanship, safety, completeness, and compliance with requirements.
• Interpret customer standards, scopes of work, and installation requirements; communicate expectations to field teams.
• Document audit results, identify nonconformances and recurring trends, and support corrective actions through closure and verification.
• Support the Services Quality Management System by maintaining audit records and procedures.
• Partner with operations, project management, and field teams to resolve quality issues and improve first-time quality.
• Develop and deliver training, coaching, and feedback related to installation standards and quality procedures.
• Analyze audit data and performance metrics to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Share lessons learned to support consistent performance across teams.
• Travel up to 60% to customer sites and operational locations.
