Job summary

OmniOn Power Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to audit engineering specifications and packages, ensuring accuracy and compliance with customer standards.

This 100% remote role reports to the Services Quality Leader and focuses on TL 9000/ISO 9001 concepts, CoPQ tracking, and process improvements. The successful candidate will review documents, support audit programs, analyze data in Excel/SharePoint, and drive corrective actions with cross-functional teams while maintaining

Qualifications

• Completion of high school diploma or GED.
• 5 years of experience in telecom industry requirements including DC power installation/engineering, toll/fiber installation, project management.
• Experience auditing engineering documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Working knowledge of quality management systems and audit practices (TL9000/ISO 9001 concepts, internal auditing, corrective action).
• Ability to interpret customer requirements, standards, and contractual engineering deliverables.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and SharePoint for tracker maintenance and Cost of Quality calculations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document audit evidence and findings.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Audit engineering specifications for accuracy and adherence to standards; document findings and drive corrections.
• Audit engineering packages to verify compliance with customer requirements and internal procedures.
• Audit methods of procedure and end-of-job packages for safe installation and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure version control and alignment between customer requirements, released docs, and service deliverables.
• Track cost of poor-quality metrics and communicate to teams to reduce costs and improve quality.
• Identify gaps and nonconformities; initiate corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
• Support TL 9000 metric collection, validation, and reporting to stakeholders.
• Prepare audit checklists, participate in surveillance audits, and track corrective actions to closure.
• Prepare audit summaries and dashboards; communicate recurring issues and suggest improvements.
• Maintain audit records and evidence per retention, confidentiality, and customer requirements.
