Pearson is seeking a Lead Specialist, Technical Architect (Quality) for ExamDeveloper. You will provide domain-level quality leadership, influence automation strategy, and guide multiple Agile teams on testing across distributed environments.

As a SME, you will mentor senior quality engineers, shape quality practices, and review critical QA work. This role is remote within the United States and reports into the Assessment & Qualifications organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of professional quality engineering, software testing, or test automation experience.
• 3+ years operating as a domain-level quality expert or SME across complex, distributed platforms.
• Deep experience with test automation strategy, tooling, and quality improvement.
• Experience operating in large product environments with multiple Agile teams, distributed QA teams, and high volumes of testing and release-readiness decisions.

Responsabilités

• Set strategy and direction for ExamDeveloper quality system, including process, automation, tooling, training, metrics, gates, and release confidence across the domain.
• Partner with Product Architect and Engineering leadership to determine long-term automation and quality strategy.
• Continually evaluate QA processes, tools, technology, data, and people practices and drive improvements that increase automation and efficiency.
• Establish quality metrics that inform decision-making, including automation health, test reliability, defect leakage, cycle time, and release readiness.
• Serve as domain SME on quality, automation approaches, and critical test scenarios; lead robust test coverage across domains.
• Mentor and coach senior quality engineers and build quality capability across teams; review critical QA work.
