Pearson is seeking a Lead Specialist, Technical Architect (Quality) for ExamDeveloper. This is a remote role within the United States and focuses on shaping the quality system, automation strategy, and risk-based testing across multiple agile teams.

You will mentor senior engineers, review critical QA work, and provide domain-level guidance for reliability, test coverage, and release confidence. This position reports to Assessment & Qualifications.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/IS or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of professional quality engineering, software testing, or test automation experience.
• 3+ years operating as a domain-level quality expert or SME across complex, distributed platforms.
• Demonstrated influence on quality practices, automation frameworks, or standards adopted across multiple teams.
• Deep experience with test automation strategy, tooling, and quality improvement.

Aufgaben

• Quality strategy and direction for ExamDeveloper quality system across domain.
• Partner with Product Architect and Engineering leadership to shape long-term automation and quality strategy.
• Mentor senior quality engineers and build quality capability across teams.
• Provide technical oversight of QA practices and test artifacts for maintainability and quality.
• Represent quality in leadership discussions with stakeholders when domain judgment is needed.
