Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Technology Solutions Professional to test software applications and configurations ensuring they meet business requirements.

Responsibilities include creating test data, executing test cases, and coordinating with developers and QA teams in a remote, nationwide setting. Ideal candidates will have 1+ year in agile delivery, experience writing/validating test cases, and familiarity with clinical workflows.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in an agile delivery environment.
• 1+ years’ experience writing and validating test cases.
• Understanding of clinical workflows and platforms.
• Ability to work one night/early morning a month to support production turn and required testing.
• Willingness to learn new applications, technologies, and QA methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test data based on requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and configuration testing to identify defects.
• Document defects with expected vs. actual results and track issues to resolution.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product teams, and stakeholders to reproduce and resolve defects.
• Retest resolved defects and verify fixes meet requirements without new issues.
• Document testing activities, results, issues, and supporting evidence per QA processes.
• Communicate testing progress, risks, defects, and resolutions to team and management.
• Participate in requirements reviews and refinement sessions to understand upcoming functionality and testing needs.
• Support development and improvement of testing standards, processes, and procedures.
• Provide input on future system configurations and potential improvements based on testing observations.
