Job summary

Humana Inc. is hiring for a Technology Solutions Professional in a remote nationwide role. You will test and validate software applications and configurations to ensure they meet business requirements and quality standards.

You will design and execute test cases, perform functional/regression/integration/configuration testing, and document defects with clear steps and results. Collaboration with developers, analysts, and product teams is essential to drive quality.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in an agile delivery environment.
• 1+ years’ experience writing and validating test cases
• Experience with clinical workflows and platforms
• Ability to work one night/early morning a month to support production turn and testing
• Willingness to learn new applications, technologies, and QA methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and execute test cases, scenarios, and data based on requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and configuration testing.
• Document defects with expected vs. actual results; track through resolution.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product teams, and stakeholders to reproduce and resolve defects.
• Retest resolved defects and validate fixes without introducing new issues.
• Document testing activities, results, issues, and supporting evidence per QA processes.
• Communicate testing progress, risks, defects, and resolutions to team and management.
• Participate in requirements reviews and refinement sessions to understand upcoming functionality.
• Support development and improvement of testing standards, processes, and procedures.
• Provide input on future system configurations and potential improvements.
