Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Technology Solutions Professional to support the quality and reliability of technology solutions by testing software applications and system configurations.

The role involves creating and executing test cases, performing various testing types, and documenting defects with precise results. You will collaborate with developers, analysts, and product teams to reproduce and resolve issues, retest fixes, and ensure changes meet requirements.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in an agile delivery environment.
• 1+ years of experience writing and validating test cases.
• Experience with clinical workflows and platforms.
• Ability to work one night/early morning per month for production turn testing.
• Willingness to learn new applications, technologies, and QA methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test data based on requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and configuration testing to identify defects.
• Document defects with expected vs actual results and track issues to resolution.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product teams and stakeholders to investigate and resolve defects.
• Retest resolved defects and validate fixes do not introduce new issues.
• Document testing activities, results, issues, and supporting evidence per QA processes.
• Communicate testing progress, risks, defects, and resolutions to the team and management.
• Participate in requirements reviews and refinement sessions to anticipate testing needs.
• Support testing standards, processes, and documentation improvements.
• Provide input on future system configurations and potential improvements based on testing observations.
