Job summary

The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) seeks a Student Assistant to support the PegaSystems and PowerApps platforms. You will provide first-level help desk support via Cherwell, Ivanti Neurons, and CaseSupport, answering questions, triaging issues, and guiding license usage by email and phone.

You will assist with testing PegaSystems and PowerApps applications, document findings, and help resolve technical issues under supervision.

Qualifications

• Ability to deal with customers on the phone or by email, supporting a web-based application.
• Ability to communicate effectively both written and orally, in support of an application help desk.
• Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle.
• Ability to test software application based on written requirements.
• Dependable.

Responsibilities

• Support QA testing phases including unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance.
• Work independently and with team members as tester or help desk specialist.
• Handle a small to moderate caseload of tickets related to Pega platform support via email and phone.
