Rayda is seeking an experienced contract QA Engineer to ensure quality across web apps, APIs, and AI-powered features. You will work independently with a fast-moving product team, reviewing requirements, creating test plans, and executing comprehensive tests across browsers and devices.

You will validate complex workflows (onboarding, orders, payments), test integrations, and document defects with clear repro steps.

Formación

• 4+ years of software quality assurance/testing experience.
• Strong experience with web application and API testing.
• Experience writing detailed test cases and bug reports.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or equivalent.
• Familiarity with browser developer tools and debugging web applications.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, authentication, and common API failure scenarios.
• Experience testing AI/LLM-powered applications and the ability to test AI-incorporated tools.
• Experience testing complex workflows and integrations.
• Ability to work with databases and write basic SQL queries for data validation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify edge cases.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with remote engineering teams.

Responsabilidades

• Review requirements, designs, and specifications to identify potential quality issues.
• Create and maintain comprehensive test plans, cases, and scenarios.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and end-to-end testing.
• Test web applications across browsers and devices.
• Test REST APIs and validate requests, responses, authentication, data integrity, and edge cases.
• Validate complex business workflows including onboarding, procurement, orders, pricing, subscriptions, and payments.
• Test integrations with third-party services and external systems.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps.
• Collaborate with engineers to investigate, reproduce, and resolve defects.
• Perform regression testing after fixes and before releases.
• Participate in release testing and provide QA sign-off.
