Job summary

Mercor is seeking a QA / Software Engineering Reviewer to validate browser test workflows for AI-powered web applications. This contract role is remote and offers pay between $30 and $60 per hour.

You will review testing pipelines, ensure deterministic results, and provide actionable feedback. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in QA/SDET and experience with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, and UI automation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Software QA, SDET, or Test Automation.
• Strong experience testing modern web applications.
• Familiarity with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar tools.
• Experience writing automated UI and end-to-end tests.
• Strong understanding of test isolation and reproducibility.
• Excellent debugging skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review browser-based testing workflows for AI web apps.
• Assess feasibility and reliability of browser interactions.
• Validate test isolation, fixtures, setup, and execution flow.
• Ensure assertions yield deterministic pass/fail results.
• Identify flaky tests and hidden dependencies.
• Provide structured technical feedback per rubrics.
