Job summary

Full Scale is a fully remote-first company helping businesses build teams of software engineers. The QA Engineer will run load and performance tests across web, mobile, and API apps, analyze results, and collaborate with development and infra teams to fix bottlenecks.

In this hybrid QA environment, you will also perform manual testing and assist with automation between performance cycles, while using tools like NeoLoad, JMeter, and monitoring platforms.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of hands-on load and performance testing; 5–6+ years welcome.
• Strong knowledge of load, stress, and performance concepts.
• Experience testing web, mobile, and API apps.
• REST APIs, HTTP/HTTPS, JSON, and SQL familiarity.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana, Splunk.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and execute performance test scripts for web, mobile, and API apps using NeoLoad, JMeter, or similar tools.
• Plan and run load, stress, and performance tests and monitor behavior during execution.
• Analyze response times, throughput, and error rates to identify bottlenecks.
• Use monitoring tools to investigate performance and assist with troubleshooting.
• Prepare clear test reports and communicate results to the team.
• Support manual and automation testing when load testing is paused.
