Cognitive Medical Systems Inc. is seeking a Software Development Test Engineer to test web and mobile apps across the full SDLC. The role emphasizes manual and automated testing, API validation, accessibility (508) compliance, and security-focused QA within an Agile team.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in CS/Engineering/IT.
• 5+ years of software QA experience, including manual and automated testing.
• Proficiency in Groovy and Java for test scripts.
• Ability to apply AI Copilot to automation testing.
• Experience testing web and mobile apps; REST APIs.
• Familiarity with Postman and API testing tools.
• SQL for data validation; strong communication skills.
• Accessibility testing tools knowledge (Lighthouse, Axe).
• Strong Agile experience and problem-solving abilities.
• US Citizenship to meet program requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Create and maintain automated test suites for web and mobile apps.
• Test REST APIs and user interfaces manually and automatically.
• Develop test frameworks in Groovy and Java; enhance automation.
• Use Copilot to assist automation test creation.
• Plan and execute end-to-end testing, including accessibility checks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define acceptance criteria.
• Track defects in Jira and participate in Agile ceremonies.
• Assist with security-focused QA practices and SDLC quality.
