Job summary

Aretum, Llc is seeking a QA Automation Test Engineer to support a federal government client. This role involves planning, developing, and maintaining manual and automated testing solutions ensuring quality, performance, accessibility, and reliability.

Remote work available with potential travel under 10% for project needs. Required: 8+ years in testing, 3+ years with automation tools (Playwright preferred), experience in automation frameworks, and strong communication.

Qualifications

Eight plus years of QA/testing experience with automation.
Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
Three plus years using automation tools; Playwright preferred.
Experience developing automation strategies and frameworks from ground up.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain manual and automated test cases for web apps, APIs, and integrated systems.
Create and maintain test strategies, plans, and automation approaches to meet delivery objectives.
Provide detailed defect descriptions, acceptance criteria, and steps in ticketing system.
Build reusable automated test scripts and components to reduce repetitive testing.
Design and support scalable automation frameworks for consistency across teams.
Perform functional, regression, smoke, integration, end-to-end, and story validation tests.
