Job summary

NOVACARD is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to own quality from Flutter mobile tests to API and data validation. You will design and maintain automation frameworks, implement Page Objects, and drive test stability in a microservices environment.

This fully remote role requires collaboration with developers, analysts, DevOps, and QA colleagues to improve delivery speed and reliability for fintech services used by customers internationally. Experience with CI/CD and monitoring tools is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mobile UI test automation.
• 5+ years of testing microservice-based applications.
• 2+ years of testing external integrations.
• Strong Python skills: OOP, libraries, utilities.
• Hands-on experience with pytest: fixtures, parametrization, markers.
• Appium experience; Flutter automation readiness.
• Git and CI/CD integration experience.
• Functional testing of Android/iOS apps; API testing.
• SQL: medium-complexity queries in MS SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of Kafka/RabbitMQ and asynchronous processing.
• Logging/monitoring with Kibana/OpenSearch/Grafana.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain UI autotests for Flutter app (Android/iOS) with Python and Appium.
• Design automation framework architecture: Page Objects, fixtures, environments.
• Work withFlutter locators and ensure test stability; fix flaky tests.
• Configure Allure reporting and CI/CD integration with GitLab.
• Run parallel emulations on devices; optimize execution time.
• Create test designs; perform functional, integration, regression tests.
• Test SOAP/REST APIs, XML/JSON, auth; automate API calls in Python.
• Write SQL queries to validate data in databases post-operations.
• Analyze logs/metrics in Kibana/OpenSearch/Grafana; trace requests.
• Diagnose autotest failures and report defects.
