Eliassen Group is seeking a QA Automation Engineer for a remote contract role in the Financial Services sector. You will conduct functional testing, load testing, usability testing, CI, and code reviews while collaborating with agile teams.

Applicants should have experience with automated testing tools (Selenium with Java, Appium) and databases (MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle), and be comfortable building or maintaining test frameworks. W2 rate is $75.00–$82.00 per hour.

Formación

• Technical degree or related work experience.
• Experience with Selenium with Java or similar automation tools.
• Experience building automated test frameworks with Java or Perl.
• Hands-on load, integration, security, and server-side testing.
• Automation of web and mobile apps with Appium or Xcode.
• Experience with MySQL, Microsoft SQL, or Oracle.
• Git and CI/CD experience.
• Experience with Agile development.

Responsabilidades

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Participate and contribute to requirements analysis, design, QA test plan development, defect review, QA results analysis, sprint review, and project planning sessions.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
• Develop, document, and maintain functional test cases and test artifacts such as test data, data validation, and automated scripts.
• Execute and evaluate automated test cases and report test results.
• Perform risk assessments and validate business requirements.
• Investigate bugs and write clear and concise defect reports.
• Monitor, triage, and drive resolution of issues.
