Eliassen Group is seeking a QA Automation Engineer for a remote contract role. You will perform functional, load, and usability testing, participate in CI/CD processes, and conduct code reviews across agile teams.

Responsibilities include designing test plans, developing automation scripts in Java, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a technical field.
• Experience automating tests using Selenium with Java.
• Experience building/maintaining automated test frameworks (Java or Perl).
• Hands-on experience with load, integration, security, and server-side testing.
• Proficiency in automating web and mobile apps (Appium or Xcode).
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL, MS SQL, Oracle).
• Experience with Git and CI/CD.
• Experience with Agile development.

Responsabilidades

• Review requirements, specifications and design documents for feedback.
• Participate in requirements analysis, design, QA test planning, defect review, and sprint planning.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
• Develop and maintain test cases, data validation, and automated scripts.
• Execute and evaluate automated test cases and report results.
• Perform risk assessments and validate business requirements.
• Investigate bugs and write defect reports.
• Monitor and drive resolution of issues.
