Eliassen Group is seeking a QA Automation Engineer for a remote contract role. You will conduct functional, load, and usability testing, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and perform code reviews across agile teams.

The position requires hands-on automation using Selenium with Java, experience with test frameworks, and strong collaboration in a distributed environment. W2 rate is competitive and benefits are available for eligible employees.

• Bachelor's or technical degree OR equivalent work experience.
• Experience as Automation Engineer with Selenium and Java.
• Experience building automated test frameworks in Java or Perl.
• Hands-on with load, integration, security, and server-side testing.

Responsabilidades

• Review requirements, specs, and design documents for feedback.
• Participate in requirements analysis, design, test planning, defect reviews, and sprint planning.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
• Develop and maintain functional test cases and test data.
• Execute and evaluate automated test cases and report results.
• Perform risk assessments and validate business requirements.
• Investigate bugs and write clear defect reports.
• Monitor, triage, and drive resolution of issues.

Our client seeks a QA professional to conduct functional testing, load testing, usability testing, continuous integration, and code reviews. The role will contribute to requirement analysis, test planning, execution, and results reporting while collaborating across agile teams.

Rate: $75.00 to $82.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Participate and contribute to requirements analysis, design, QA test plan development, defect review, QA results analysis, sprint review, and project planning sessions.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
• Develop, document, and maintain functional test cases and test artifacts such as test data, data validation, and automated scripts.
• Execute and evaluate automated test cases and report test results.
• Perform risk assessments and validate business requirements.
• Investigate bugs and write clear and concise defect reports.
• Monitor, triage, and drive resolution of issues.

Experience Requirements

• Technical degree or related work experience.
• Experience as an Automation Engineer using tools such as Selenium with Java or similar.
• Experience building and maintaining automated test frameworks using languages such as Java or Perl.
• Hands-on experience with load, integration, security, and server-side testing.
• Proficiency in automating web and mobile applications using tools such as Appium or Xcode.
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, Microsoft SQL, or Oracle.
• Experience with Git version control and CI/CD tools.
• Experience with agile development.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
