Eliassen Group is seeking a QA Automation Engineer for a remote contract role in the Financial Services sector. The role focuses on functional and load testing, CI integration, and code reviews within an agile environment.

Responsibilities include testing activities, test plan development, and defect analysis. Candidates should have hands-on automation experience with Selenium, Appium, and relevant databases, plus Git and CI/CD familiarity.

Formación

• Technical degree or related work experience.
• Experience as an Automation Engineer using Selenium with Java or similar.
• Experience building automated test frameworks using Java or Perl.
• Hands-on experience with load, integration, security, and server-side testing.
• Proficiency in automating web and mobile apps using Appium or Xcode.
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle).
• Experience with Git version control and CI/CD tools.
• Experience with agile development.

Responsabilidades

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Participate and contribute to requirements analysis, design, QA test plan development, defect review, QA results analysis, sprint review, and project planning sessions.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
• Develop, document, and maintain functional test cases and test artifacts such as test data, data validation, and automated scripts.
• Execute and evaluate automated test cases and report test results.
• Perform risk assessments and validate business requirements.
• Investigate bugs and write clear and concise defect reports.
• Monitor, triage, and drive resolution of issues.
