Job summary

Purely Works is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to own test strategy and build automated test frameworks for financial applications and AI-powered features. This remote role collaborates with the development team and presents quality insights to stakeholders.

You will design tests, implement Playwright-based frameworks with TypeScript, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines. Strong English communication and client-facing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional QA automation experience with a strong automation focus.
• Strong TypeScript and Playwright experience (Cypress is also acceptable).
• Experience with API testing, SQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools such as k6.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent English communication and client-facing skills.
• Practical experience using AI tools to improve testing productivity.

Responsibilities

• Design and own comprehensive test strategies.
• Build and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright, TypeScript, and Vitest.
• Perform API, integration, regression, security, and performance testing.
• Validate financial calculations, data imports, and access controls.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Test AI-powered features and financial data integrations.
• Collaborate with the development team and present quality insights to clients.
