Nauchsoft is seeking a Lead Automation QA Engineer to join a long-term enterprise project in the telecommunications and digital services domain. The role emphasizes building robust automation using Playwright and TypeScript, enhancing the test framework, and ensuring high-quality software releases.

The candidate should have 2+ years of automation experience, strong API testing skills, and comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote-friendly setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of practical experience in test automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript / JavaScript.
• Experience with Playwright or willingness to work with it.
• Good understanding of REST/SOAP APIs and testing.
• Experience with API testing and end-to-end web testing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows.
• Ability to analyze failures and troubleshoot independently.
• Experience using AI tools in daily engineering tasks.
• English level B2 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve automated tests using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Extend and improve the automated testing framework.
• Create automated UI, API, and end-to-end tests.
• Analyze requirements and identify automation candidates.
• Prepare and maintain test data.
• Investigate and root-cause failed tests.
• Improve automation coverage, stability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with QA, developers, and product managers.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in code reviews and adhere to standards.
