Job summary

OmniOn Power Inc. invites a Quality Assurance Specialist to audit engineering specs and packages, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to TL 9000/ISO 9001 standards.

This remote role reports to the Services Quality Leader and focuses on cost of quality tracking across quotation, engineering, execution and material. The ideal candidate will leverage Excel and SharePoint for data analysis, drive corrective actions, and support internal surveillance audits while maintaining documentation

Qualifications

• 5 years of telecom industry experience (DC power installation/engineering, toll/fiber installation, project management, etc.)
• Experience auditing engineering documentation for accuracy and compliance
• Working knowledge of quality management systems and audit practices (TL9000/ISO 9001)
• Ability to interpret customer requirements, standards and contractual engineering deliverables
• Proficiency with Excel and SharePoint for tracker maintenance and Cost of Quality calculations
• Strong written and verbal communication with clear objective audit evidence

Responsibilities

• Audit engineering specifications for accuracy and completeness; document findings and drive timely corrections
• Audit engineering packages (drawings, BOMs, build docs, ECNs/changes, deviations) for compliance
• Audit Methods of Procedure and End of Job packages for safe installation and regulatory compliance
• Ensure version control and alignment between customer requirements and service deliverables
• Track cost of poor quality (CoPQ) metrics and support corrective actions across teams
• Identify gaps and nonconformities; initiate corrective actions with Engineering, Quality and Operations
• Support TL 9000 metrics collection, validation, and reporting to stakeholders
• Prepare audit checklists, gather evidence, conduct interviews and track corrective actions
• Prepare audit summaries, trend analyses, and dashboards; report recurring issues and improvements
• Maintain audit records and evidence per confidentiality and customer requirements
