Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst in Washington, DC to create, maintain, and execute test plans, cases, and scripts for new features, bug fixes, and release validation.

You will document defects, collaborate with developers and product owners, and communicate release notes to customers and internal stakeholders. Proficiency with Windows environments and Jira is preferred. Salary range is $55,000–$65,000 USD per year.

Qualifications

• Experience testing software applications and creating/executing test cases
• Excellent verbal and written communication, including defect reports and release notes
• Ability to work with developers, support staff, product stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
• Strong knowledge of PC and LAN environments, Windows Server/OS
• Experience with Jira and test management tools
• SQL knowledge is preferred and beneficial

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new features, bug fixes, integrations, customer scenarios, and release validation
• Document, investigate, reproduce, track, and validate defects and issues with developers and product owners
• Communicate release changes through clear release notes and demonstrations of new features
• Utilize AI-assisted tools to support test planning and defect analysis
• Contribute to QA process improvements and release readiness practices
