Job summary

Humana Inc is seeking a Technology Solutions Professional to support testing of software applications and system configurations ensuring they meet business requirements. The role focuses on creating test artifacts, executing tests, and collaborating with developers and product teams.

Working in an agile environment with occasional night shifts for production support, you will document findings, participate in requirements reviews, and contribute to QA process improvements.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in an agile delivery environment.
• 1+ year experience writing and validating test cases.
• Experience with clinical workflows and platforms.
• Willingness to work one night/early morning per month for production turn/testing.
• Willingness to learn new applications, technologies, and QA methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test data based on defined business and functional requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and configuration testing to identify defects and validate system functionality.
• Document defects clearly, including expected and actual results, and track issues through resolution.
• Partner with developers, business analysts, product teams, and other stakeholders to investigate, reproduce, and resolve defects.
• Retest resolved defects and validate that fixes meet expected requirements without introducing additional issues.
• Document testing activities, results, issues, and supporting evidence in accordance with established QA processes.
• Communicate testing progress, identified risks, defects, and resolution status to team members and management.
• Participate in requirements reviews, refinement sessions, and other team discussions to understand upcoming functionality and identify potential testing needs.
• Support the development and continuous improvement of testing standards, processes, documentation, and procedures.
• Provide input on future system configurations and potential solution improvements based on testing observations
