Job summary

Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer LLP seeks a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Application Analyst to ensure quality, reliability, and security of enterprise applications across desktops and endpoints. You will validate installations, upgrades, and integrations, and coordinate with Desktop Engineering and stakeholders to minimize user disruption.

Responsibilities include testing strategies, defect tracking, and post-release validation, with remote work possible in a firm-approved U.S. state.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field; plus two years of experience, or equivalent.
Minimum of three years of application QA/testing or application analyst experience.
Experience with defect-tracking and ALM tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow).
Knowledge of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities

Translate requirements into comprehensive testing strategies, plans, cases, and acceptance criteria.
Perform installation, upgrade, compatibility, functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.
Validate packaging (MSI, MSIX, EXE, IntuneWin32) and silent installations.
Verify compatibility with Windows updates, patches, and Microsoft 365 updates.
Investigate issues and track defects through resolution; root-cause analysis.
Collaborate with Desktop Engineering, infra, security, and business teams.
