Job summary

GuruLink is seeking an SQA Analyst for a 6-month contract via corp-to-corp. The role supports remote work with a requirement to be located in the United States (Orlando, FL area referenced) and follows EST working hours (8:00 am–4:30 pm).

The candidate will plan, analyze, design, and execute test strategies and cases, produce metrics, and mentor teammates. Strong automation and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience executing QA and testing activities through the project life cycle.
• Experience executing test scripts on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience overseeing and/or executing test scripts and verifying results.
• Experience in automation testing and writing automated test scripts.
• Experience deriving test strategies from requirements and designs.
• Experience performing metric analysis and reporting project defects.
• Maintaining and updating test scripts and test cases.
• Understanding application design, programming languages, and testing concepts.
• Interest in learning about software development and testing environments.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to follow standards.
• Self-motivation with integrity and ability to handle ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Test Planning: collaborates with project teams to understand testing requirements and develop strategies and plans for approval.
• Test Analysis: reviews requirements and designs to derive testing needs and plan testing activities.
• Test Design: designs test cases and determines appropriate levels of test automation.
• Test Case Creation: creates manual or automated test cases from design specifications.
• Testing: conducts testing per plans and tracks defects.
• Project Metrics: analyzes metrics and reports project defects to management.
• Education and mentoring: contributes to mentoring and coaching on testing processes and tools.
